Digital Read STOP Write

Atomic NYC and the Read STOP Write research team of Dr. John Strong and Dr. Laura Tortorelli have been awarded a 2027 Department of Education Small Business Innovation and Research grant.

From the first time we heard about the mounting evidence behind the Read STOP Write program, the team here at Atomic began brainstorming all the ways that digital tools might support its implementation. Together with the amazing team of Dr. Strong and Dr. Tortorelli, project director Jessie Dib developed, refined, and focused the ideas into a project that will go into testing with teachers and students in Spring 2027.
